Mississippi State University Bulldog Bytes GenCyber program will offer a camp for elementary girls in West Point MS and Columbus MS this summer. Register at our GenCyber Camps Link!

MSU will also offer a residential summer camp for middle and high school girls. This camp is partially funded by GenCyber and is supported by the CREATE foundation.  MSU Alumni Mr. Doug Marchant and Ms. Emily Epps have also made this summer program possible through their generous donations. 

Four Aspirations in Computing winners and high school students submitted AspireIT grant proposals to offer computing outreach programs to other girls in Mississippi: Mary (Columbus, MS), Zoe (Jackson MS), Rimika  (Tougaloo MS), and Anna  (Starkville MS). Zoe and Rimika received funding, and we look forward to seeing the awesome work they will do!

CS student Meenakshi Das and Dr. Sarah Lee received a grant from AccessComputing grant proposal to offer a computing outreach program for students with low vision or blindness! The one day workshop will be held in September 2017. Stay tuned to msawc.org for details.
